Tips membuat surat lamaran kerja Bahasa Inggris

Sebelum masuk ke pembahasan utama, alangkah baiknya jika Sedulur tahu beberapa tips untuk membuat surat lamaran kerja dalam Bahasa Inggris yang baik dan benar. Berikut ini hal-hal yang perlu diketahui.

1. Gunakan surat yang singkat, padat, dan jelas

Jangan terlalu bertele-tele ketika Sedulur membuat surat lamaran pekerjaan karena pada umumnya perusahaan tidak menyukainya. Cobalah untuk membuat surat lamaran yang singkat, padat, dan juga jelas. Yang paling penting ada beberapa poin berikut:

a. Nama lengkap

Perhatikan dalam penulisan nama, gunakan nama lengkap Sedulur agar surat lamaran menjadi profesional. Hindari penggunaan nama panggilan, apalagi jika nama tersebut terdengar aneh dan terkesan penuh candaan.

b. Pengalaman kerja

Cantumkan pengalaman mengenai pekerjaan apa saja yang pernah Sedulur geluti. Terlebih jika pekerjaan tersebut relevan dengan posisi yang akan dilamar selanjutnya.

c. Posisi pekerjaan yang dilamar

Hal penting yang tidak boleh dilewatkan adalah mengisi informasi posisi pekerjaan yang akan dilamar. Surat lamaran yang tidak mencantumkan posisi pekerjaan bagaikan mengirim surat tanpa tujuan.

2. Perhatikan grammar

Seperti yang diketahui, penulisan kalimat dalam Bahasa Inggris dan Indonesia itu berbeda. Ini adalah poin yang harus benar-benar diperhatikan saat membuat surat lamaran berbahasa Inggris. Jika belum paham, kamu bisa menggunakan bantuan situs pengecek grammar di internet, kok.
