A Letter from CEO
Super is a platform for reseller agents. We are empowering people in the rural area to become self-made entrepreneurs by becoming our Super Agen and to sell goods to their communities and help them to improve their family finances.
When we started this business, we realized that digital literacy in second and third-tier cities and in rural areas is still immature. According to ASEAN Briefing, Indonesian first generation of e-commerce like C2C (customer to customer) models still account for a mere 3–4% of the total retail in Indonesia (2019). This number supports our findings. Most people are not used to conducting transactions through screens and doing CTA (call-to-action) such as putting unique codes into the ATM machine to do a single transaction. Therefore, we try to find community leaders who have social networks of around 50–100 friends and train them to become our facilitators to aggregate the demand in their community to do online transactions via our agents. With this O2O (online-to-offline) approach, we have penetrated the market well. Our sales have grown 100x since last time this year, and today we process multi million USD orders.
 
Through my experience at Super, I saw that our market is niche because of the unequal economic distribution. Therefore, people who live in second- and third-tier cities and in rural areas have significantly different purchasing behavior compared to those in Jakarta. Hyperlocal social commerce is the solution that can better serve this market because it can help solve economic equality distribution by creating price efficiency, supply chain efficiency as well as a better user experience.

Responsibilities :

  • Handling compliance checks such as policies and procedures to develop a culture of compliance.
  • Help the Head Compliance Division to implement all Compliance programs in each Division.
